You can complain if your application was rejected because you hadn’t notified the National Population Register that you had moved. Your move must be recorded in the National Population Register before we can process your complaint.

How to complain:
- Notify the National Population Register that you have moved
- Inform your municipality once the move has been registered. You can find the address in the decision letter you received. Remember to include your name and your reference number or national identity number.
- If you want to apply for housing allowance for next month, you must immediately inform the municipality or submit a new application electronically.
You can complain if you applied for housing allowance for a house where you weren’t living on the 1st of the month. In that case you can apply for housing allowance for the home where you were actually living.
