Work assessment allowance (AAP), unemployment benefit and housing allowance
AAP and unemployment benefits are paid out every 14 days, based on the information you report on the employment status form submitted every two weeks. Provided that you submit this form on time, you will receive AAP or unemployment benefits three times in one month twice a year.
Twice a year, you will receive three payments of Work Assessment Allowance (AAP) or unemployment benefit within the same month, provided you submit your benefit cards on time.
When this happens, we count two-thirds of the total amount paid as income when calculating your housing allowanse. This means that part of the money you receive will not affect how much housing allowanse you may be entitled to.
