How can I upload attachments to my eApplication?
You can upload attachments with a mobile phone, tablet or computer.
If you have a paper copy of the attachment
Take a photo of the attachment with your mobile phone or tablet.
When taking the photo:
- Lay the document down flat.
- Make sure that there is enough light.
- Hold the camera still.
- Make sure the photo is sharp and that the document is legible.
To upload it to the eApplication you must do one of the following things:
- Log in to the eApplication with your mobile phone or tablet, and upload the photo as an attachment.
- Send the photo to your own e-mail address, save it and upload it when you complete the eApplication.
Use a scanner
Using a scanner you have at home:
- Scan the document and save the file somewhere easy to find.
Using a scanner at a library or other public place:
- Send the scanned document to your e-mail address.
If you have a digital copy of the attachment
The attachment is the wrong type of file
We accept attachments in the following formats:
If the attachment is a different type of file (e.g. .doc or .docx) you can do the following:
- Open the file.
- Select “Save as”.
- Select “PDF” as the file type.
- Save the file somewhere easy to find when you want to upload it to your application.
If you have the document as an e-mail attachment
You have the document as an e-mail attachment, but it’s not saved on the computer you’re using for your eApplication:
- Open the e-mail with the attachment.
- Select “Download”.
- Save the file somewhere easy to find when you want to upload it to your application.
